Ace Enders will be heading back into the studio recording another album for his musical project, I Can Make A Mess Like Nobody’s Business. His tweet read, “Getting ready to record a new mess record and finish the 3 dust’n songs.. I’m excited.”
People I want to be like: Arthur “Ace” Enders
Always hard working, humble, and a talented performer who pours his heart and soul into what he does. His self-respect comes first, and you can really tell that he doesn’t write music to make money, but music that matters.
I find it admirable that he’s self-releasing his own music so he can make music how he wants, about what he wants. I want this album, Gold Rush to succeed so badly because he’s so genuine, and I’ve been in love with his music for seven years. I want other people to see how amazing it is, so he can continue sharing his gift.
Good lord, this is a hard question. In the last 5 years alone I’ve become a fan of too many artists, but I have to say that the ones that have kept the independent spirit alive in music are probably the ones most important to me… and I mean the ones that are truly in it for the love of music, not the ones that use “indie” as a gimmick. The majority of the musicians I used to admire either started writing blatant money-maker albums or quit the business.
In short Ace Enders is an amazing and not only talented, but makes me want to be a better person. Thomas Erak is also following a similar path since The Fall of Troy- I love his music and have been following his career for almost as long as Ace’s, but has had less of an impact on how I view the world. Either way, I think taking the harder path in order to keep to their morals (about music anyways) is noble.
